It Was Never About the Gutters
Read through all 100 and a funny thing shows up: people rarely lead with the gutter. They lead with how the job felt. "Extremely friendly, honest and transparent." "Professionalism, responsive communication and fair price." "Pleasant to work with, and reasonably priced." The gutter has to be right, that part is table stakes. What people remember is whether they trusted the person on the ladder.
So that is lesson one from 101 reviews: the work gets you to five stars, but the honesty is what gets you the review.
The Little Things Are the Big Things
Review 100 itself, from Andrew P., says it better than we could: "They went above and beyond just gutter cleaning. They relocated an out of place downspout, cleaned my skylights and hosed any dirt off the house at no additional cost." None of that was on the work order. All of it took maybe twenty extra minutes.
That pattern runs through the whole hundred. Carly told us her gutters "haven't been this clean in years." Kayla got a same-day cleaning after one phone call. Joe got a dent repaired honestly instead of being sold a whole new run he did not need. Twenty extra minutes, a hundred times over. That is the whole business model.
Do Right When It Costs You
One of our favorites of the hundred is about a repair we could have made more money on. A tree branch dented a gutter, and instead of replacing the entire run, we fixed the section. The homeowner wrote that we did it "without having to replace the entire gutter run which most companies would never do to try and help the customer save some money."
Here is the thing: that review has probably brought us more work than ten full replacements would have paid. Doing right when it costs you is not charity. It is the best marketing there is, and 101 reviews are the receipt.
