We Now Offer Full Roof Installations

Same crew. Same standards. Bigger toolbox. The Bandits are now installing roofs across Central New Jersey — and we just wrapped our first one.

Why We're Doing This

For the better part of a decade, Tristan and Andy have spent their days on roofs. Cleaning gutters, installing seamless systems, replacing fascia, restoring flue pipes, soft washing siding — all of it. Over thousands of jobs, one pattern kept showing up: homeowners getting a new roof from one company, then a separate gutter team weeks later, with neither crew talking to the other. Half the time the flashing decisions on the roof made our gutter install harder. The other half, the gutter team installed before the new roof was finished and the homeowner got water in places it shouldn't be.

It's a bad system, and it's been bothering us for years. So we fixed it. We're now offering full roof installations as a Gutter Bandits service — which means you can get the roof, the gutters, the flashing, the drip edge, and any fascia or soffit work coordinated by one local team that already knows your house.

Our First Roof Is Done

We just completed our first full roof installation as Gutter Bandits, and we couldn't be happier with how it came out. The job: a full tear-off and replacement on a Central NJ ranch home — and as a small bonus, it happened to be a Marine veteran's house. Honored to do that one first.

Gutter Bandits truck on-site, dumpster staged, materials staged for tear-off

Day one — truck staged, dumpster on-site, ready to start tear-off.

Materials: GAF Timberline HD architectural shingles in charcoal gray, with the GAF Cobra Snow Country Advanced ridge vent for proper attic ventilation. We don't cut corners on what goes underneath either — full synthetic underlayment across the whole deck plus ice-and-water shield in the eaves and valleys, where leaks actually start.

Tear-off first — strip the old roof down to the deck and inspect every square foot of plywood for soft spots, rot, or compromised sheathing. The crew worked clean and fast, and we caught the deck condition before laying anything new on top.

Tear-off in progress. Down to the deck before anything new goes on.

From there: drip edge, ice-and-water shield, synthetic underlayment, then shingles in proper sequence with full flashing on every penetration. Ridge vent cut in, attic balanced, magnetic roller across the lawn to pick up every nail.

The finished roof. Clean lines, properly seated shingles, ready for whatever Central NJ throws at it.

One done. Many more on the way.

What This Means If You're a Current Customer

If we've been on your gutters before, nothing changes about that relationship. Same crew. Same standards. Same phone number. The only difference is that now, when you're starting to think about a roof replacement (and most homes built in the early 2000s in Central NJ are getting close to that conversation), you can have one company do the whole top of the house instead of juggling two or three.

And if your roof is getting close, here's the honest math: doing the roof and the gutters together is significantly cheaper than doing them separately. Same scaffolding, same crew, same setup. We pass that savings on.

What's Included in a Bandits Roof

The same way we've always done gutters — with a stubborn refusal to cut corners on things you can't see. Full tear-off when the existing roof has run its life, deck inspection and replacement of any damaged plywood, modern synthetic underlayment plus ice-and-water shield in the parts where leaks actually start (valleys, eaves, around penetrations), architectural shingles, properly integrated step and counter flashing, ridge vents balanced with intake vents so your attic actually breathes.

And we coordinate it with the rest of the system. Drip edge integrated with gutters. Fascia repaired or replaced before anything goes back on. Downspouts routed to the right spots. The whole top of the house, working as one system, by one team.

Same License, Same Coverage

We're the same licensed New Jersey home improvement contractor (LIC# 13VH13885700), fully insured, and bonded. We serve the same Central NJ towns we always have — Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean County. Roof work doesn't change any of that.

What's Next

We'll be publishing the first project spotlight in the next few weeks with full photos and the homeowner's story. We'll also be adding more roofing content to the blog — guides on when to replace vs. repair, how to think about insurance claims after storm damage, and what separates a good roof install from a bad one.

In the meantime, if your roof is starting to look tired, give us a call at (908) 242-6056 or use the free quote form. We're in your area, we're licensed, we're insured, and we'd love to be the team that handles it for you.
